the Sossusvlei is a famous salt and clay flat of the Namib desert, where the sand sweeps itself into some of the largest dunes in the world, and the ruffles and swirls of this piece take inspiration from the rolling landscape. the pale gold shimmer was inspired by the heat haze of the scorching desert and as a contrast to the rich red sand. this high waisted bottom is cheeky, but secure enough for climbing dunes and catching waves.
